About ChaplaincyPlus

ChaplaincyPlus is a charitable trust formed in 2003. It is a Christian organisation run by professional people for professional people, irrespective of their faith. It is non-denominational but has close links with Birmingham Cathedral.

Director, Chris Dinsdale has had 23 years in the property industry. He was a partner in an international firm of chartered surveyors based in London. Following that he was director of Midweek in Mayfair for 10 years providing pastoral care amongst Mayfair’s business community.

Clair Dinsdale worked alongside Chris at Midweek in Mayfair and continues this role at ChaplaincyPlus. She is a qualified counsellor and also a chartered surveyor.

Aims of ChaplaincyPlus

• To resource – through hosting gatherings for working people in the corporate and professional marketplace and special interest groups such as City Women and Young Adults.

• To encourage – Christians in the business community that all may realise that Jesus is both present in their workplace and passionate about their work. Our aim is that we will all become better disciples who by our actions and our words follow God’s commandment to love Him and our neighbours in our places of work.

• To support – through confidential pastoral care and formal individual counselling.
